Introducing Todd Thornbery of Active Lifestyle

At Active Lifestyle we believe that being active is the key to overall lifestyle change. The body is your tool for this activity and it is important that you are properly conditioned and coached to increase your performance at whatever it is that you do. Everyday tasks require energy and bodily function. Your daily tasks at work and play are equally as important  and we help you to strike a balance between the two. What we do is work with you to help improve your body’s overall functioning capacity. We work generally with all types of different people, but overall the goals are quite similar. Most people want to increase flexibility and core strength, increase overall strength, lose body fat and excess weight, get in shape and be pain free. We’ve had fantastic results with helping people in all of these areas, changing lives day by day, one step at a time.

Let me introduce you to Todd Thornbery, another key component to the Active Lifestyle team. He is the only Certified CHEK Golf Biomechanic professional in Thailand and combines a holistic approach to lifestyle change, providing manual therapy, nutritional advice and a unique service only provided by CHEK professionals called Metabolic Typing.

What’s the Difference Between a Golf Biomechanic and a Golf Teaching Professional?

A Golf Teaching professional coaches golfers on the technical side – swing analysis, specific type of shots, course management etc. and is an essential part in a golfers development and continuous improvement as a player and their game.

The problem is the golf teaching professional can only work with what he has in front of him and often must give advice or a swing fault correction to compensate for a physical limitation. Such as, a lack of flexibility or poor core strength. This is a great way to get injured!

By eliminating that limitation with a proper golf-conditioning programme designed by a chek golf biomechanic you can follow your teaching professionals advice directly without compensation and without the risk of getting hurt.

A CHEK Golf Biomechanic is an extensively trained exercise professional that specialises in conditioning golfers.

Focusing on enhancing the health and function of the golfer. Working on improving posture, flexibility, stability, strength, power, fitness levels and muscle balance. Read More
