Asia Fit Convention Days 2 & 3

This past weekend Todd and I had the opportunity to attend three days of fitness workshops, lectures and activities. What an awesome time we had running, jumping and playing like kids. We got our asses kicked for multiple hours a day by the likes of Peter Twist, Douglas Brookes and Jim Stoppani of Muscle & Fitness. We were on agility ladders, using bands, chains, hurdles, bosu balls…you name it, we used it. The camaraderie and connections made with other fitness professionals was great. The hunger and desire for more knowledge and information was evident. It was inspiring to see a new generation of Thai trainers who really thirst for more and want to help lead this charge through the center of Asia’s Fitness Wave.

We met personal trainers and coaches from Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and The Philippines. We shared our experiences, our passion for what we do and our knowledge with one another. This was really a great opportunity to grow professionally and recharge for our clients and friends who we help on a daily basis. This inspiration helps us realize why we do this job. We have the best job in the world. We get to help people down the road of life, overcome challenges and frustrations, get out of pain and feel great about themselves. We’re in the business of helping people and it feels good at the end of the day to know that you helped change a person’s life forever.

Life is an amazing thing and we often take it for granted.  No one is promised another day, but with each day we grow, we should grow better, stronger, faster and more vibrant. Thanks to Dr. Suzanne Hosley of Fit Innovations Thailand and numerous other contributors along with ACE, the envelope is being pushed in Asia and we are proud to be a part of that push.
